RTM Pro installs on a Windows computer and reads plant data directly from existing databases. It connects to Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database through 32-bit ODBC drivers, which the customer supplies along with the database itself. Data can also be imported from Excel files, a topic covered in its training program. Queries return a configurable number of records, typically around 6,000. Analysis needs only a part identifier, a timestamp, and a performance value to start. Interfaces to SAP and other enterprise systems are not included by default and are handled as custom projects after analysis by AppliediT engineers. A bring-your-own-license option on IONOS Cloud is also listed.
